District tournaments
Thirty-two district-level chess tournaments conducted across Pollachi Taluk since our founding — a steady, dependable circuit that has given school students, first-time competitors, and seasoned club players alike a fair board and a serious clock on which to test their game, tournament after tournament.

State-level tournaments
Two state-level tournaments hosted under the Association's banner, drawing rated players from across Tamil Nadu to Pollachi and placing the Taluk firmly on the state's competitive chess map — a milestone few Taluk-level bodies reach this early.

Over a hundred events in all — coaching camps, school outreach programmes, simultaneous exhibitions, arbiter and trainer seminars, and felicitations for our players — the everyday work, beyond tournaments alone, that keeps chess alive and growing across the Taluk.
As set out in the Association’s Memorandum, registered with the Registrar of Societies, Coimbatore South.
A President, an Advisory Committee, and an elected Executive Committee direct the Association’s day-to-day business between General Body meetings, and are empowered to admit or decline membership applications.
